United Arab Emirates delays Landrush phase of .EMARAT (.امارات) IDN.IDN

The United Arab Emirates has announced that it is delaying the commencement of the Landrush phase of the .EMARAT (.امارات) IDN.IDN launch that was previously scheduled to begin on July 14, 2011. Chinese.hk Registrations To Be Discontinued Starting January 18th

HKIRC, the Registry for .HK domain names, has announced that they plan to launch the new Chinese.hk IDN ccTLD in February/March 2011.  In preparation for the launch, HKIRC will permanently discontinue offering Chinese.hk domain names starting January 18, 2011. Public Registration for Hebrew IDNs Opens on December 26th

On December 26th, ISOC-IL, the Israeli Domain Name Registry, will open public registration for domain names with Hebrew characters in .CO.IL and .ORG.IL (example: איגוד-האינטרנט.org.il). Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
